The Atlanta Braves trace their origins back to 1871, making them the oldest continuously operating professional sports team in America. Atlanta Braves 2025 Season 

As of May 31, 2025, the Atlanta Braves have a record of 26–30, placing them fourth in the National League East and 9.5 games behind the division-leading Philadelphia Phillies. The team endured a rough start to the season, opening with seven straight losses, including being swept by the Padres and Dodgers. They managed to claw their way back to a .500 record by mid-May at 23–23, but a recent slump has seen them lose seven of their last ten games.

Their most recent outing was a 5–1 loss to the Boston Red Sox, their fourth defeat in the last five games.
