Jersey Boys highlights the interesting inception of the popular rock band the Four Seasons in the 60s, with an incredible score and an incredible tale.

The documentary-style show tells the tale of Frankie Valli, Tommy Devito, Nick Massie and Bob Gaudio trying to achieve their musical goals when they had much going against them - brash stereotypes associated with their New Jersey upbringing, some mafia ties, and even a criminal record.

While the groups reputation wasnt one that would bring scores of fans across the globe, such as their peers the Beatles and the Beach Boys, the group certainly found success on the radio and on tour, charting a number of hits through their career and becoming a fixture in the rock n roll industry in America.

The show, written by Marshall Beckman and Rick Elice, is based on interviews with members of the band and features first-person accounts from each member. In addition to the insight it offers into the groups trials and tribulations, the juke-box musical features a number of hit songs.

The group provided the show with quite a catalogue to choose from - performances in the song include Cant Take My Eyes Off of You," Earth Angel," Walk Like a Man," Working my Way Back to You" and Sherry."
