They recently wrapped up their 2008 tour and are expected to announce a fall 2009 and spring 2010 tour. They've also announced song changes for the March 2009 tour, which is sure to be a treat.
To date, the band has released two albums: "Celtic Thunder" and "Act Two," as well as a live performance DVD, "Celtic Thunder: The Show."
Often donned in kilts and tall socks during performances, the all-male band is comprised of five Celtic soloists who perform both solos and ensemble numbers, so each song is completely unique.
The band members are: Damian Joseph McGinty Jr. (the youngest member at just 17), Keith R. Harkin, Paul Michael Byrom and George Donaldson. The group Celtic Thunder made its debut in August 2007 at Dublin City University.
