9 to 5 News and Information Hit musical "9 to 5" is currently in residency at the Majestic Theatre on Broadway in NYC for 185 shows, kicking off Saturday, July 26th.

Allison Janney, Stephanie Block and Megan Hilty star in the production, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, Joe Mantello of "WICKED" directing, and choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler of "In the Heights."

The critically-acclaimed show opened at the Center Theater in Los Angeles and moved to Broadway in late April, 2009, to rave reviews.

The show centers around Violet, Judy and Doralee living out the fantasy of giving their boss the boot, and all of the shenanigans that ensue in the workplace. Hit songs from the musical include the title track, "Potion Notion," "Shine Like the Sun," "Backwoods Barbie" and "Change It."

The production has garnered a plethora of Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominations, including Tony nods for 'Best Original Score," "Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical," "Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical," and "Best Choreography."
