Billy Crystal, 61, is taking his commended stage autobiography—700 Sundays— to Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Dallas, Palm Beach, Fla., Miami and Atlanta this fall. The tour will begin on September 8 and run through December 20.

700 Sundays is a two-act play starring Billy Crystal as he plays a number of characters that have influenced his life. It begins in his youth as he grew up on the jazzy streets of Manhattan, and runs through teenage and adult years.

Crystal previously toured with the autobiographical 700 Sundays after 2005 when the play broke the record for weekly gross of a nonmusical production on Broadway and won the 2005 Tony for special theatrical event.

The show is performed and written by Crystal, and has additional content by Alan Zweibel. Janice Crystal, Larry Magid and Face Prods. Director Helmer Des McAnuff will return to direct again this year.

"I have thought about 700 Sundays at least once a day since the last time I performed it in Australia two years ago. My love for these characters from the canvas of my life, and the incredible connection I feel with audiences while sharing this personal story, have made this one of the most satisfying experiences of my life. I knew I wasn't done performing it, and I knew I'd like to bring the show back when the time felt right," Billy Crystal said.
