GreatSeats.com Ticket Purchasing Terms of Use

Ticket Pricing & Availability
GreatSeats.com specializes in acquiring hard to find tickets to sold out events. Our prices reflect the difficulty in acquiring the seats, the seat locations, and the current market value. Prices for our tickets may be above face value. Tickets for popular events will sell out quickly.

All prices listed are PER SEAT unless otherwise specified. If you are unsure about the price/quantity of tickets being offered please contact us. We will be happy to answer any questions.

Ticket Guarantee
GreatSeats.com guarantees the authenticity of the tickets that you ordered. If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, we guarantee a 100% refund of the ticket price paid less the non-refundable security and processing fee (see Refund Policy). If we are unable to provide you with the seats you ordered due to seller conflicts or delivery issues beyond the control of GreatSeats.com, we will make every effort to substitute COMPARABLE seats for the same price. If replacement seats are unavailable, we will automatically give you a 100% refund. For more information, read our 100% Guarantee Policy.

Billing Information Verification
Orders are processed only after a billing address, and other billing information, has been verified. Occasionally, we receive incorrect billing or credit card account information for a ticket order that can delay processing and delivery. In these cases, a sales representative will attempt to contact you, using the information provided at the time of purchase. If GreatSeats.com is unable to reach you after its initial attempt, GreatSeats.com may cancel your order and may sell your tickets to another customer.

Order Confirmation
After placing an order on our website you will receive a purchase receipt via e-mail. If you do not receive this receipt, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with a GreatSeats.com representative whether or not your order was placed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process. GreatSeats.com will not be responsible, monetarily or otherwise, if you assume an order was not placed because you failed to receive a purchase receipt.

Once your order has been placed GreatSeats.com will begin the process of confirming your order. Confirming the order entails making sure that the tickets are available to be delivered in a timely manner. GreatSeats.com firmly stands behind the products and services we sell. Once your order is confirmed, we guarantee you will receive the tickets you selected. If for any unforeseen reason the tickets you selected are not available, we will substitute a comparable or better ticket for the same price or provide you with a 100% refund. Please note that in some cases it may take up to 48 hours to confirm an order.

Payment Methods & Fees
GreatSeats.com accepts several methods of payment to accommodate your needs. We currently accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

For every ticket transaction, you pay the price of each ticket, a non-refundable security & processing fee equal to 10% of the total ticket cost, and a FedEx shipping fee. The security and processing fee serves a two-fold purpose: 1) to help defray the cost of maintaining our PCI Level 1 Compliance - the highest level of Internet security and data protection available to safeguard our users against identity theft and credit card fraud; and 2) to help cover the costs associated with the Member-Based Ticketing Service, where GreatSeats.com provides a secure, convenient and user-friendly marketplace connecting individuals who wish to buy and sell tickets in a safe, online environment.

Shipping & Delivery
GreatSeats.com ships, monitors and tracks all tickets using FedEx. We offer Priority Overnight Shipping ($30), Saturday Shipping ($40), and Two-Day Shipping ($20). Please note that depending on the date of purchase in relation to the date of the event not all shipping methods may be offered. Orders are shipped to the buyer’s billing address of the credit card used to complete the purchase. We will also accept the buyer’s work address as an alternate shipping option, subject to approval. Adhering to FedEx shipping policy, we do NOT ship to P.O. boxes. A signature is required on all deliveries as proof of receipt.

Redeeming Gift Cards & Promotional Codes
GreatSeats.com Gift Cards can be used to purchase tickets over the phone or online through our secure shopping cart. Each Gift Card is issued with a unique identification number that can be either entered in a designated field during the online checkout process, or redeemed by a GreatSeats.com sales representative during the course of a phone transaction. Gift Cards are valid indefinitely, and are only redeemable up to the amount of the purchased value of the card.

Promotional Codes are only valid for use with online purchases on the GreatSeats.com website, and are subject to term limits that vary by promotion. The unique code is entered in a designated field during the online checkout process.

Event Cancellation Policy
Due to a variety of reasons beyond the control of GreatSeats.com, all ticketed events may be cancelled with little or no notice. If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, GreatSeats.com will notify ticket holders of the cancellation. GreatSeats.com will issue a full refund of the ticket price paid, less the 10% non-refundable security & processing fee. In order to issue a refund the physical tickets MUST be returned to GreatSeats.com within two weeks of the cancellation notice. If your event has been cancelled and you would like a refund, please visit our Refund Request page to get started. Please allow up to three weeks to process your refund.

Refund Policy Exception: Presidential Inauguration Event Tickets. Regardless of acts of nature or war, travel conditions, or any other circumstances beyond the control of GreatSeats.com, ALL SALES ARE FINAL! No Refunds, No Exchanges, No Exceptions! The GreatSeats.com ticket guarantee remains in force, however, we cannot provide any guarantees for those events associated with or held in conjunction to the Presidential Inauguration.

Event Postponement & Rescheduling Policy
Due to circumstances beyond the control of GreatSeats.com, all ticketed events are subject to a change of start time, event date, venue location, or even cancellation. If an event has been postponed and rescheduled, GreatSeats.com will notify ticket holders of the changes. Your tickets are good for the rescheduled date.

Unfortunately, the variety of reasons causing postponed events is unpredictable. If you cannot attend the event under the changed conditions, you are welcome to list them for sale through our Member-Based Ticketing Service, time permitting. GreatSeats.com will make every effort to help you resolve your ticket situation, but we are not responsible for postponed events, performance changes, or venue, date or time difference. No refunds will be issued.

Refund Policy
Tickets are a one of a kind item and not replaceable. Please treat them like cash, and secure them immediately to avoid theft or loss. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on any order once it is submitted to us. Due to a variety of reasons, all events are subject to a change of start time, change of event date, program change, interruption, and cancellation. GreatSeats will only reimburse charges upon cancellation of the event, otherwise all sales are final. The physical tickets MUST be returned to GreatSeats to receive a reimbursement of charges less the non-refundable 10% security & processing fee. Permitted Use Policy
You agree that you are only authorized to visit, view and to retain a copy of pages of this site for you own personal use, and that you shall not duplicate, download, publish, modify or otherwise distribute the material on this site for any purpose other than to review event and promotional information, for personal use, or to purchase tickets or merchandise for your personal use, unless otherwise specifically authorized by GreatSeats.com to do so.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has neither licensed nor endorsed GreatSeats.com to sell hospitality packages or programs in conjunction with NCAA Championships.

Member-Based Ticketing Service Terms of Use
GreatSeats.com is a web site that provides a service to allow members who want to buy tickets to find members who want to sell the same tickets. To be a member of this site, you must agree to accept all terms and conditions and you must have a valid credit card that we accept. You may only use the services provided on this site if you can legally enter into and form binding contracts. Please do not use or try to use the services if you do not qualify.

While GreatSeats.com is the facilitator for the sale and purchase of the tickets through the member-based service, we cannot guarantee that a seller or buyer will complete a transaction. If you have a dispute with one or more members, GreatSeats.com will work with both parties to arrive at a mutually-agreed upon resolution; however, you release GreatSeats.com all affiliated companies, officers, directors, agents, parents subsidiaries, legal representatives and employees from claims, demands and damages of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such dispute.

Registration & Permissions
GreatSeats.com will not accept any request to sell tickets until you have registered to list your tickets. It is free to list your tickets for sale through the GreatSeats.com member-based ticketing service. To register, you must provide an accurate name, address, phone number, email address, and valid credit card. We use your credit card information, in combination with your billing information, to verify your identity, which helps us prevent fraudulent ticket listings. GreatSeats.com will NOT charge your credit card when you register to sell tickets with our system.

You grant GreatSeats.com permission to charge your credit card for the purchase of items. For the purpose of promoting and facilitating the sale and purchase of tickets and items that you list for sale, you grant to GreatSeats.com a non-exclusive, transferable, worldwide, paid-up, royalty-free right and license to reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display on the site and on the sites of our marketing partners your descriptions of tickets listed for sale.

Ticket Listing Policy
Once a ticket is posted for sale, we strongly discourage posting that ticket for sale elsewhere. If you choose to sell your ticket, you may post your ticket for sale in other marketplaces but are required to remove your ticket from the GreatSeats.com site immediately if your ticket sells elsewhere.

We reserve the right to prohibit users from posting tickets on GreatSeats.com if they are not able to provide the exact tickets that were posted on GreatSeats.com. GreatSeats.com is authorized to withhold payment or charge your credit card account any amount you owe us if: (1) a sale is cancelled for any reason; (2) we reasonably believe that you have committed fraud or other illegal acts or omissions during any buying or selling activity; (3) you are not able to produce the exact seats that you listed on the site; or (4) you otherwise owe us a specific amount. If any of these things happen, we may also deduct from any amount we owe you the amount you owe us.

Shipping & Delivery
GreatSeats.com will notify you by email when your tickets sell. As the seller, you agree to ship your tickets to the buyer within a predetermined timeframe. GreatSeats.com will provide you with a pre-paid FedEx shipping label which you can access and print out by logging into your member account. The seller assumes all responsibility for prompt shipping of the proper tickets with the pre-paid FedEx shipping label provided by GreatSeats.com through any FedEx store, designated drop box, or scheduled pickup.

By agreeing to the terms and conditions, you acknowledge that GreatSeats.com has the right to monitor and track all ticket shipments to ensure successful delivery. If the seller fails to ship his/her tickets within the allotted time, the sale is considered in default and will be cancelled. GreatSeats.com reserves the right fill the cancelled order with other tickets available on our website at which time the seller’s credit card on file may be charged the difference in price of the replacement tickets.

Seller Payment & Fees
GreatSeats.com agrees to pay the seller the price of the tickets sold less a 15% service charge, i.e. seller’s fee. There are NO additional costs or fees. Checks are mailed to the ticket seller within seven to ten business days after the buyer has confirmed receipt of the tickets. If you have sold multiple sets of tickets in a short time frame, GreatSeats.com reserves the right to consolidate your payments into one lump sum check.

Listing Cancellation Policy
Ticket listings may be cancelled at any time prior to a completed sale with absolutely NO penalty or fees. Once your listing has been confirmed cancelled through the “My Ticket Listings” page within the member area, the tickets will be immediately removed from the website.
