The NCAA Lacrosse Championships return to Baltimore, MD, to be played at M&T Bank Stadium in both 2010 and 2011. Hosted by the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, Johns Hopkins University, Loyola College and Towson University, the tourney brings student athletes together to compete in Divisions I, II and III championships for some of the most popular and best attended NCAA championship games.
This year's NCAA men's lacrosse championship will take place on Memorial Day weekend at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
Baltimore is the unofficial home of lacrosse and a perfect city to host the Final Four. The stadium is within close proximity to the Inner Harbor and a number of hotels and places to eat. There is also a huge parking area to support pre-game tailgating.
The city has set previous attendance records for the event and is expecting a record crowd once again this year. The lacrosse Final Four only seems to get better and better with each passing year.
Duke is coming off their first ever national championship and hoping to make it two in a row, but a number of other teams would like to throw a wrench into those plans.
Lacrosse powerhouses like Syracuse, Princeton, Virginia, Johns Hopkins and Maryland would all like to once again hoist the national championship trophy. Notre Dame, which fell to Duke by just one goal in last year's championship, wants another shot at the title.
