Maryland Terrapins Basketball Tickets

The Maryland Terrapins came into the 2010 college football season with redemption on their mind, looking to avenge last year's disatrous 2-10 record, which was embarassing for the program and school.

Maryland has done just that and more so far, although you could say they've been the beneficiaries of a very easy schedule. The Terps are off to a 6-2 start, with their only losses coming from trips to West Virginia and Clemson.

The Terps are bowl eligible and actually control their own destiny in terms of potentially winning the Atlantic Division and competing in the ACC championship game.

Maryland still plays Florida State and North Carolina State at home to finish out the year, and they are the only two other teams still in contention to win the Atlantic title.

After the way Maryland played last year, it's nearly unthinkable that they would be in the ACC championship picture. However, the team has improved throughout the season, especially when it comes to redshirt freshman quarterback Danny O' Brien.

If Maryland's offensive line can continue to open up running lanes and give O' Brien time to get the ball to his dangerous wideouts, the Terps might just pull off one of the most amazing turnarounds in recent memory.
