The Vancouver Canucks are in second place in the Northwest Division, but have two teams breathing down their neck.

However, Vancouver has four of its next five games at home, which presents a golden opportunity to distance themselves from some of their top competitors.

Only one of those games, a home contest against San Jose, is against a team that has a bette record than Vancouver.

Daniel Sedin leads the Canucks in both points and goals with 59 and 25, respectively. Henrik Sedin leads the team with 45 assists.

The two are identical twins, and you can tell by the way they play out on the ice. Both players seems to know where each other is and what each other is thinking at all times, making them a very dangerous offensive combination.

The only bad part about having the pair as such an important part of the offense is that if they struggle, the entire team struggles to score.

Roberto Luongo has been solid in goal, allowing 2.55 goals per contest. He also sports a 91.5 save percentage. He has proven to be a solid addition for the Canucks and given them stability in front of the net.

Curtis Sanford has been equally as solid in a backup role, allowing 2.59 goals per contest while stopping over 90 percent of the shots he sees.

The Canucks seem to be in a solid position to reach the postseason, but they can't afford to let up at all with so many teams charging hard from behind.
