Anaheim Ducks 09-10 Season Wrap Up
Posted 4/21/2010
The Anaheim Ducks didn't make the playoffs, but at least they finished the year on a positive note by stomping the hapless Edmonton Oilers.
Anaheim finished just six points behind the Colorado Avalanche for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
The team was 25-11 on their home ice, good enough for one of the best records in the entire league. However, they were well under .500 on the road, and that really came back to bite them.
Teemu Selanne felt that the team really underachieved this year and was certainly good enough to make the playoffs.
At the same time, he said it was too late to dwell on their squandered opportunities and that instead the team needed to start focusing on what needed to be done to get better for next season.
The team is already set in goal with Jonas Hiller, but adding a couple of premeire defenders could really help.
