Boston Bruins Seating Chart

The Boston Bruins are having their best season in many years, currently leading the Northeast Division, and they appear to be heading for the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Nothing can go wrong in Boston these days, where it seems like every team is enjoying incredible success.

The Bruins have proven themselves to be far and away the best team in the Eastern Conference and could be considered the top team in the entire NHL.

Lately the team has struggled a bit, as they were just able to break out of a four-game losing streak in which they managed just seven goals. Things quickly changed with a five-goal outburst in a win over the Florida Panthers.

Tim Thomas and Manny Fernandez have been an unbelievable combination in the goal, but give a lot of credit to a stingy defense in front of them that doesn't make many mistakes and give up easy goals.

Thomas, the starter, allows just 2.09 goals per game while Fernandez gives up just 2.13 goals per game. Not bad for a guy coming off your bench, who would be good enough to start for many teams in the league.

Marc Savard leads the team with 63 points while Phil Kessel leads the Bruins with 24 goals. Savard also leads the club in assists with 42.

Boston doesn't have many big-name players that jump out at you at star players, but they seem to get the job done quite well working together as one team.

It's been a rough season for the Bruins as far as injuries go, as the club has two quality players on injured reserve.

The Bruins appear to be the team to beat come playoff time, but anything can happen in the postseason. However, having home-ice advantage throughout the playoffs will certainly be critical.

Boston appears to be on a collision course to face the explosive Washington Capitals in the Eastern Conference Finals, which would be a fitting way to end the playoffs on that side of the bracket.
