2010 Final Four Preview
Posted 3/1/2010
When you talk about the greatest sporting events around the country, the NCAA Final Four has to be at the top of any list.
Three weeks of competitive college basketball comes to a conclusion at the Final Four, which will be played this year at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Lucas Oil Stadium is just a few years old and the beautiful home of Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. It's set in the middle of the downtown area, which makes it convenient for fans visiting the city.
Indianapolis has been the host of many Final Fours, and deservedly so. When you talk about basketball, few states can match the passion of Indiana. Indianapolis is also the home of the NCAA Hall of Fame, a tremendous place to visit while in the city to see the Final Four.
At last year's Final Four, we saw a very talented and experienced North Carolina Tar Heels team roll their way to yet another national championship.
This year's field won't have a dominant team like North Carolina, as parity has ruled the college basketball world in the 2009-2010 season.
While there is no dominant team, there are plenty of quality and exciting teams that could end up in Indianapolis. Kansas is the most balanced team in the country, Kentucky has the ever-exciting John Wall, and Syracuse is young and talented.
Duke is bigger inside than ever before, Villanova still has tremendous guard play, and Purdue plays the type of defense that will frustrate even the country's top offensive teams.
Could this be the year when another George Mason comes out of the woodwork and makes a stunning run to the Final Four? Maybe this is the year when a George Mason actually wins the whole thing. Who knows? That's what makes it so exciting.
No matter what happens, you can expect to see three incredibly exciting games that culminuates in the naming of the 2010 national champions. A trip to the Final Four really should be on the bucket list of any true sports fan.
He who hesitates is lost, especially when it comes to trying to get tickets at one of the country's premiere sporting events. Don't miss out on the action! Be sure to order your NCAA Final Four tickets from Great Seats today!
