Sacramento Kings 2010-11 Mid-Season Review
Posted 1/26/2011
The Sacramento Kings are in dead last in the Pacific Division and one of the few remaining NBA teams with just single-digit victories.

The Kings have a lot of young, immature players on their team, especially when it comes to their top players. Tyreke Evans isn't exactly the best teammate, and we all know about the problems with rookie DeMarcus Cousins.

To give Evans credit, he has been battling and playing through a foot injury the entire season. While his numbers down, he is still putting up more than 17 points, five assists and four rebounds per game.

Cousins has been inconsistent, but he is putting up over 12 points and seven rebounds per game. That's very solid from a rookie, especially for a guy that only spent a year at the college level.

Donte Greene, another one of the team's young but talented players, has been a disappointment so far. He is averaging just over five points per game, and he was a player I was very high on when he left Syracuse after just one season.

For the Kings, it's all about continuing to improve over the second half of the season and growing together as a team. The playoffs, and even a respectable record, are not really an option.
