Oklahoma City Thunder 2010 Playoffs Preview The Oklahoma City Thunder quickly parlayed a lot of young talent into a spot in the Western Conference playoffs.

The team grabbed the final playoff spot out West, although they were only a handful of games away from one of the top seeds.

The biggest reason for the team's quick asenscion can be credited to Kevin Durant, who won the NBA scoring title this season.

Durant is not just a scorer, but a winner. He has made several game-winning shots this season and also leads the team in rebounding. He plays both ends of the court and is more concerned about winning than how many points he scores.

Russell Westbrook has improved by leaps and bounds over his rookie season and is settling into the point guard position. He averages nearly a double-double per game and is second on the team in scoring.

Jeff Green and James Harden, two more young players, are third and fourth on the team in scoring. Both players are also very versatile and can do a lot of the little things that help you win basketball games.

The one big question for the Thunder heading into the postseason is their amazing lack of playoff experience. They really have no veterans on their roster, so it's hard to tell how they will react to the pressure of the playoffs.

With a tough first-round matchup, it's hard to envision the Thunder doing much damage in the playoffs. That said, they could at least make life difficult for a few games for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Thunder is probably still another year or two away from becoming a legitimate NBA title contender, but it's going to happen.
