New York Knicks 09-10 Season Wrap Up
Posted 4/21/2010
For the New York Knicks, the second year of the Mike D' Antoni era didn't really go much better than the first. Instead, the second season was simply a long waiting process for the much anticipated free agent summer of 2010.

The Knicks spent much of the season finding ways to trade for expiring contracts and hoping to rid themselves of as much salary cap money as possible hoping to land at least one or possibly two stars in the offseason.

The result of that strategy was predictability on the court, as a disjointed team struggled to come together and consistently win basketball games.

Now the Knicks and their fans begin praying that LeBron James wants to make The Big Apple his permanent home. He seems to be leaning toward resigning with his hometown team, but money and fame talk.

Even if the Knicks are unable to land King James, there is hope that they could bring in Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh or someone of the sort and rebuild their team around them.

At worst, the Knicks would be a middle-of-the-pack team in the Eastern Conference and at least reach the playoffs and have a fighting chance to make a run to the NBA Finals.
