Minnesota Timberwolves 2010-11 Mid-Season Review
Posted 1/25/2011
The Minnesota Timberwolves are sitting in dead last in the division and have one of the worst records in the NBA. In other words, it's business as usual in Minneapolis.

You have to feel really bad for a guy like Kevin Love, a great teammate who could really help a contending team. Instead, he is stuck in a city that is frigid in the city with a basketball team that is nowhere close to being competitive.

He is averaging over 21 points and 15 rebounds per game, which is just ridiculous. You have t love a guy putting up crazy numbers like that.

The good news is that the Timberwolves have a very young, formidable frontcourt with Love and Michael Beasley teamed together. The averaged a combined 41 points and 21 rebounds per game.

The bad news is that the backcourt is struggling with the continued absence of Ricky Rubio and the disappointing play of Johnny Flynn. Flynn has been so bad that he has even been sent back to the D-League.

There is a lot of young talent on this team, but the Timberwolves desperately need some backcourt help. Without quality guard play, you aren't going anywhere in the NBA.
