The Milwaukee Bucks are another Eastern Conference team currently looking to get younger as they try to rebuild and become a playoff contender.
The Bucks have been trying to build around center Andrew Bogut, a quality low-post player who is working his way up to All-Star caliber. Brandon Jennings has become the star of the team, but he missed a significant portion of last season with an injury, which stunted the Bucks' progress.
Michael Redd has become somewhat of the forgotten man in Milwaukee after being the face of the franchise for so long. Redd missed all of last season with a knee injury, but the Bucks are hopeful that he will be 100 percent for the upcoming year. Redd is a deadly shooter who can score in bunches, something that could take a lot of pressure off of Jennings.
The team also added Stephen Jackson, another good shooter who can cause matchup problems with his length. He can also cause team chemistry problems with his poor attitude and off-the-court issues, but if the Bucks can control those aspects, they found themselves a good player.
There are a number of interesting young players on the team, including Tobias Harris, Jon Leuer, Larry Sanders and Jon Brockman. While they won't all become star players, the Bucks are hopeful that a few of them can carve out a role on the team.
Milwaukee should be significantly better this year so long as they can avoid significant injuries to Redd, Jennings and Bogut. If Redd can return to his former self, they are definitely returning to the postseason. Fans are looking forward to more "Ws" from a healthier, more robust team this season.
