Memphis Grizzlies 2010-11 Mid-Season Review
Posted 1/25/2011
The Memphis Grizzlies have shown signs of life this year and might make a charge at the .500 mark before the season comes to an end.

The Grizzlies are just a few games below the .500 mark, but
unfortunately sit in last place in the ultra-competitive Southwest Division. However, they are only a couple of wins away from climbing out of the basement.

Consistency has been the biggest issue for the Grizzlies this season, and it's something that they are trying to correct in the second half.

Memphis elected to re-sign Rudy Gay in the offseason, and that move has panned out well. He is averaging over 20 points and six rebounds per game and received a lot of consideration for the All-Star game.

Zach Randolph looks to have finally matured, and the numbers prove it. He is averaging over 20 points and 13 rebounds per game while staying out of trouble off the court and being a good teammate.

Even Mike Conley has shown dramatic improvement this year, giving the Grizzlies an adequate point guard solution for the time being.

The Grizzlies probably aren't making a run to the postseason, but they could be just a season away.
