Chicago Bulls 2010-11 Mid-Season Review
Posted 1/25/2011
The Chicago Bulls have benefitted from LeBron James' move to Miami by taking control of the Central Division.

Out of all of the divisions in the NBA, the Bulls currently hold the largest lead of any team in first place. Some of that can be attributed to the lack of competition in the division, but the Bulls deserve some credit as well.

What has been most impressive about the Bulls first-half record is the fact that Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer have both missed extensive time. Once both of those players are back healthy, Chicago will be even more formidable.

Point guard Derrick Rose has really started to flourish, averaging over 24 points, eight assists and four rebounds per game. He looks like he is ready to take his game to the next level.

Kyle Korver hasn't been an overwhelming addition, but he does his job. He gives the Bulls the outside shooting threat that they were missing, which forces other teams to be more honest on the defensive end.

At worst, the Bulls will end up with the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference. That should allow them to cruise through the first round of the playoffs, but things will get decidedly more difficult after that.
