Boston Celtics 2010-11 Mid-Season Review
Posted 1/25/2011
The Boston Celtics have rolled through the first half of the season to hold a commanding lead atop the Atlantic Division.
The Celtics own one of the top records in the league and appear set for another deep postseason run.
Shaquille O' Neal and Jermain O' Neal have given the Celtics some much needed size on the interior. Shaq has really been a nice pickup and given Boston a player who can still create mismatches against certain teams.
Despite missing Kevin Garnett for a few weeks because of an injury, the Celtics really didn't miss a beat.
It has become Rajon Rondo's team, but don't think Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen are just content to sit back and watch. All three veterans still have a major impact on each game.
The Celtics will battle with the Miami Heat for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and home court advantage throughout the playoffs. Even if they fall short of the top seed, the Celtics will remain the team to beat.
