The Oregon Ducks have dominated nearly every opponent tossed their way so far this 2010 season, flying all the way up the polls to the top spot in the nation.
The Ducks have used an explosive offense that is equally as dangerous on the ground as it is through the air. They run an up-tempo, frenetic pace that eventually wears down opposing defenses.
Running back LaMichael James has put up some huge numbers and looks like he is a future first-round NFL draft pick. Quarterback Darron Thomas hasn't missed a beat in taking over for Jeremiah Masoli, who was kicked out of school last year.
Meanwhile, the defense has held up its end of the bargain. While the unit won't ever be mistaken for the Steel Curtain, Oregon does a terrific job of generating turnovers. This helps negate some of the big yardage that their defense surrenders, and it also gives their offense great field position.
Oregon's remaining schedule is not very challenging, so they look like a good bet to play in the year's national championship game.
