Ohio State Buckeyes 2010 Mid Season Review
Posted 11/4/2010
The Ohio State Buckeyes couldn't get past a tough road trip to Wisconsin, and it looks like it might dash any hopes for a national championship.

Quarterback Terrelle Pryor has looked impressive against inferior opponents, but he continues to struggle in big games. He didn't play particularly well in the loss to Wisconsin, and has likely hurt his draft stock more than helped it this year.

While the Buckeyes have almost no hope for a national title, the Big 10 championship is still very much up for grabs. The Buckeyes are battling with Michigan State, Iowa and Wisconsin, and it very well will come down to the last week of the regular season.

Other than their loss to the Badgers, Ohio State has been pretty dominant in every other game. They pretty easily dispatched Miami back when some considered both to be national title contenders, and Illinois is the only other team that has really given them any kind of challenge.

Not only to the Buckeyes have a very good offense, but their defense is one of the best in the land. They rank fourth overall in points surrendered, allowing just over 13 per game. It will be interesting to see if they can maintain that ranking with three formidable opponents remaining on their schedule.
