Allstate Sugar Bowl 2011 Preview The Allstate Sugar Bowl will be played on January 4 at 8:30 p.m. at the Superdome in New Orleans.

The Sugar Bowl features the top team in the SEC against an at-large team. The game often features the second-best team in the SEC because the champion of the conference typically finds itself in the BCS national championship game.

There are still a number of possibilities for this year's game, but Auburn or Alabama is likely to represent the SEC. The at-large berth could very well go to TCU, who remains undefeated and could finish with a perfect record.

While Mardi Gras is the biggest party around, New Orleans knows how to have fun when it comes time for the Sugar Bowl. It's a great city to visit and the game always sells out.
