Rose Bowl 2011 Preview
Posted 11/9/2010
The Rose Bowl will be played on January 1 at 5 p.m. at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
The 'Grand Daddy' of them all is the most anticipated bowl game on New Year's Day, and for some, of the entire college football postseason. There's nothing quite like ringing in the New Year like the Parade of Roses.
It is one of the most historic bowl games in the country and is the end-game for all Big 10 and Pac-10 teams, particularly those that come up short of reaching the national championship game.
Ohio State, Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan State all still remain in the hunt to represent the Big 10. Oregon will represent the Pac-10, but only if they lose before the end of the season and don't reach the BCS national championship game.
Should Oregon reach the title game, Stanford looks to be next in line to represent the Pac-10 in the Rose Bowl.
