2010 Discover Orange Bowl Predictions The Stanford Cardinal and Virginia Tech Hokies will face off in the Discover Orange Bowl on January 3 at 8:30 p.m. at Sun Life Stadium in Miami.

Stanford head coach Jim Harbaugh spent the week leading up to the BCS selections campaigning for his team to receive an at-large berth, and he was rewarded for his efforts.

Virginia Tech got off to a rocky start, losing their first two games, but righted the ship and gone undefeated since that time. Tyrod Taylor has really improved throughout the season, and the Hokies featured a very balanced offense.

The Cardinal is lead by quarterback Andrew Luck, who as it stands today would be the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft if he were to leave school. Harbaugh, meanwhile, is rumored to be an NFL coaching candidate and a potential replacement for Rich Rodriguez at Michigan should he be fired.

This could be one of the best bowl games of the season. In the end, Luck should make the difference.
