The Vanderbilt Commodores will cap off their season taking on the Cincinnati Bearcats in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl in Memphis on December 31 at 3:30. (ET)

Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin, who was let go by Maryland after Ralph Friedgen was fired despite having been previously named head coach in waiting, has done an unbelievable job in his first year with the Commodores. He guided Vanderbilt to only their fifth bowl game ever, which is no small accomplishment.

Quarterback Jordan Rodgers, the brother of Green Bay Packers signal-caller Aaron, has put together a very solid season. While he didn't lead the team to any great victories, most of the losses came to the top teams in the SEC.

Meanwhile, the Bearcats won a share of the Big East title but lost the tiebreaker to West Virginia, which awards the BCS berth to the higher ranked team. Cincinnati lost just three games all season, but two of them came in the final three weeks.

With the way the older Rodgers and his NFL team has been playing this year, you can't go against the younger brother in this toss-up.
