International Bowl Tickets

The South Florida Bulls will play the Northern Illinois Huskies in the
International Bowl on Saturday, January 2 at noon in Toronto.

It's been an up and down season for the talented Bulls, whose
highlight was knocking off the rival Florida State Seminoles in
Tallahasee.

They began the season winning their first five games, which included
the Florida State victory, before falling to undefeated Cincinnati.

They managed to sandwich a victory over Pittsburgh in between losses
at Pittsburgh and Rutgers. After trouncing Louisville, South Florida
lost their final two games of the season to Miami and Connecticut.
They only lost by two to the Huskies, but you never want to go into
the bowl game on a losing streak.

The Bulls have all of the talent in the world thanks to a great
location in a state just chock full of outstanding high school
football players.

Northern Illinois has been on the national map before, having upset
Maryland at home in a season opener several years ago. After those
players graduated, the team fell off the map until recently.

They began the season trying to knock off another big-time school,
losing by just eight at Wisconsin. They then managed two straight
victories, which included a stunning road upset of the Purdue
Boilermakers.

The Huskies lost just three games the rest of the season, but two came
in the final weeks of the season. They were both close losses, but
like I said about the Bulls, it's never good to go into a bowl game
toting around a losing streak.

It's good to see that the Huskies have shown the ability to play with
some quality, BCS schools, but they will see a different level of
speed against the Bulls than they did against Wisconsin and Purdue.

Prediction: South Florida might be inconsistent, but they have way,
way better athlete than Northern Illinois. The Huskies are really
going to struggle to match up with the speed of the Bulls, and that
