2012 GoDaddy.com Bowl Preview The Arkansas State Red Wolves will take on the Northern Illinois Huskies in the GoDaddy.com Bowl on January 8 at 9 p.m. (ET)

Northern Illinois has become a regular bowler, having played postseason football for four straight years and in six of the past eight seasons. Meanwhile, Arkansas State made history by becoming the first team in the Sun Belt conference to win 10 games in a season.

Arkansas State's only two losses came at Illinois and Virginia Tech, and while they weren't close games, they didn't get embarassed, either.

Northern Illinois lost three games, all on the road to Kansas, Wisconsin and Central Michigan. While they were trounced by Wisconsin, they lost the other two games by a combined 10 points.

Both teams enter the bowl game on long winning streaks, but very few even care.

Prediction: Northern Illinois 30, Arkansas State 24
