Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Tickets

The Ohio State Buckeyes will take on the Texas Longhorns in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on January 5 at 8 p.m. in Glendale, Arizona.

The Buckeyes began the season as the top team in the country in the eyes of many, but an embarassing 35-3 loss to the USC Trojans changed all of that.

The loss also reinforced the notion that the Big 10 is a slow conference and that Ohio State once again showed itself to be unworthy of playing teams competitively from the top conferences in the country.

Ohio State had the chance to redeem themselves later with the Big 10 title on the line, but they couldn't take care of Penn State at home in the big horseshoe.

As for the Texas Longhorns, talk about a team that was truly screwed out of the national championship picture.

Texas lost one game all season, falling on the road to Texas Tech on the final play of the game. They beat Oklahoma by 10 earlier in the year on a neutral field and also beat several other good teams.

Quarterback Colt McCoy is a difference maker who finished as the runner-up in the Heisman Trophy race to Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford.

Until Ohio State shows it can even hang with a top team from another conference, you can't roll with them.
