2010 Military Bowl Predictions The Maryland Terrapins and East Carolina Pirates will square off in the Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman on December 29 at 2:30 p.m. at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC.

Despite the cold weather, it's a terrific idea and obviously the perfect place to hold a bowl game dedicated to the United States military.

The location of the game is close for both teams, and Maryland won't even have to leave their campus until gameday. The Terps may bring a lot of fans, but many are upset they didn't end up in a warmer, more prestigious game.

Maryland is obviously tremendously disappointed to be playing in this game, while the Pirates are more than happy to compete against an ACC school. The Terps have the major edge in talent, but can they get hyped up to take on the Pirates?

If nothing else, it should be an exciting game with plenty of offense as two of the country's top passers do battle.
