Armed Forces Bowl Tickets

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane will take on the BYU Cougars in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl on December 30 at noon.

While there won't be an Armed Forces team playing in the bowl game named after them, this should still be a pretty entertaining football game between two teams that are very balanced on both sides of the ball and had tremendous seasons.

Tulsa finished with just four losses, all of which came at the hands of top 10 teams. You really can't fault them for that. They won seven of their final eight games, so they come in with plenty of confidence and momentum.

BYU has a very good defense and can also put points on the board. They beat Mississippi and came within a point of upsetting Texas, so they are certainly no pushover. They also put up a good fight against TCU before losing by just 10.

Tulsa scores more points than BYU, but they also tend to give up more as well. It will be interesting to see whether this is more of a high-scoring or low-scoring game.
