Maryland Terrapins Basketball Tickets

The Maryland Terrapins have had success in Cameron Indoor Stadium before, but that was certainly not the case Saturday in an 85-44 loss. It was an embarassing performance in which the Terps trailed 40-15 at halftime and found themselves behind 60-20 just minutes into the second half. It was a sloppy performance that saw the Terps handle the ball carelessly and turn it over numerous times, resulting in easy baskets for Duke. Maryland wasn't much better on defense, where they did a poor job of grabbing rebounds and didn't cover Duke out on the perimeter. The Terps now must try and erase that game from their memory as they take on Boston College and try to get back to .500 in the conference....

The Maryland Terrapins built up a 17-point lead and then held on for an 84-78 victory over the Virginia Cavaliers. Adrian Bowie and Landon Milbourne led the team with 17 points while Greivis Vasquez added 16. Eric Hayes had a career night, completing his first double-double. Hayes had 10 points, 11 assists and no turnovers. The Terps poor shooting and turnovers allowed Virginia to climb back into the game, but they did a nice job knocking down their free throws in the final minute. Things get quite a bit tougher for the Terps now, as they travel to face the rival Duke Blue Devils on Saturday....

For the second time in four days, the Maryland Terrapins have lost a tough game to a Florida opponent. Maryland fought all day long, battling back from a deficit numerous times, back in the end came up short in overtime against the Florida State Seminoles, 76-73. The duo of Greivis Vasquez and Eric Hayes yet again had a rough day, combining to shoot just 5-24. There is no way the Terps are going to be anyone in the ACC when their two top shooters struggle so mightily. The Terps have a chance to rebound at home Tuesday night when they take on the rival Virginia Cavaliers....
