The LSU Tigers always seem to be under fire, particularly head coach Les Miles, whose coaching gaffes and lack of offense does not sit well with one of the more rabid fanbases in the country.
Miles is known for some crazy decisions at the end of games, but somehow his team ends up pulling out close games in some wild ending.
This year hasn't been much different, as LSU has relied on defense and some big plays at the end of games to pile up victories. The Tigers pulled out last second wins against Tennesssee and Florida in back-to-back weeks.
The Tigers only loss came at the hands of Auburn on the road, and they only lost by seven. For all of the criticism direction Miles' way, LSU remains right in the thick of the SEC title race.
LSU's biggest problem isn't their play, but rather that of the top teams in their division. The SEC West is much better at the top than the East, with both Auburn and Alabama standing in their path to the SEC championship game.
LSU would need to win out and then hope Auburn loses twice because of the tiebreaker situation based on their head-to-head matchup.
