What does PCI Level 1 Compliance mean?
GreatSeats.com has successfully fulfilled and strictly adheres to the highest standard setting for each of the six main control objectives for PCI DSS compliance and validation.  They are:

  • Build and Maintain a Secure Network
  • Protect Cardholder Data
  • Maintain a Vulnerability Management Program
  • Implement Strong Access Control Measures
  • Regularly Monitor and Test Networks

The PCI DSS is used by all card brands to assure the security of the data gathered while a customer or employee is making a transaction.  A single violation of any of the requirements can trigger an overall non-compliant status resulting in steep fines, suspension and revocation of credit card processing privileges.

How is PCI Compliance validated?
GreatSeats.com has undergone a thorough audit by the credit card companies and an on-site visit by a contracted assessor to confirm all objectives and requirements have been met.  In addition, daily security scans are performed by ScanAlert Internet Security and ControlScan of all GreatSeats.com devices—websites, networks, databases, etc.  The ScanAlert (Hacker Safe) and ControlScan logos on GreatSeats.com verify the site is being regularly monitored and tested.
