Important Information about the Inaugural Parade
Record crowds are expected for the Parade. We advise everyone to arrive four to five hours early to allow ample time to get to your seats, which are unassigned, first come-first serve. The Parade gates open at 7 am.
Metro will be the easiest way to get to the Parade. The Metro Center, Gallery Place, and Judiciary Square stops are convenient to some of the best areas of the parade route, and to several of the public entry points. NOTE: Due to security measures, the Archives/Navy Memorial, Federal Triangle, Mt Vernon Square, Pentagon and Smithsonian Metro stations will be closed.
