Neighborhood Inaugural Ball Tickets

President-elect Barack Obama will host the first Neighborhood Inaugural Ball on the night of his swearing-in ceremony. Part of the Presidential Inaugural Committee's goal is to make this Presidential Inauguration as publicly accessible as possible.

Entertainers for the event, which will be held at the Washington Convention Center, include Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Faith Hill, Jay-z, Alicia Keys, Shakira and Stevie Wonder, and additional performers will be announced as they are confirmed.

And, as to be expected from Obama, he will be sharing his celebration with as many people as possible. The event will be aired live on ABC from 8 p.m. through 10 p.m. on Inauguration night. Obama's inauguration website is encouraging supporters to schedule their own viewing parties throughout the country to celebrate the occasion. The Neighborhood Ball will also be webcast live across the internet.
