Liberty Ball Tickets

The Liberty Ball is an official inaugural ball, put on by the state of Florida. This means that roughly 5,000 Florida residents will be attending the fun.

In 2005 the affair was held in Hall C of the Convention Center, and included entertainment from the Marty Conns, Escapade and M. Andrews Swingehead. The convention center is a 2.3-million square foot, $855 million building that housed six of the balls, while the rest were located in museums and hotels around the city.

The last installment of the Liberty Ball was especially important to President Bush, as Florida played such an important role in his election in 2000, and his brother was Governor in 2000 and 2005.

The ball, as all of the other galas, is funded privately. Many corporations donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to ring in the new administration - the cost for this year is expected to exceed $40 million for all of the celebrations.
