The International Conservation Caucus Foundation has planned the largest gathering of conservationists for their 2009 Inaugural Gala.

The event will be held on Monday, January 19th, at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC, and will feature a sit-down dinner and program to highlight conservation achievements by a variety of communities, including corporate, NGO, and government groups that aim to promote U.S. leadership in the sound management of the worlds natural resources.

The guest list is upwards of 500 individuals, including foreign heads of state, members of the U.S. Cabinet, members of Congress, word business leaders, American celebrities and leaders from the international NGO community.

In the past, the gala has included appearances from actor Harrison Ford, former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, and DuPont Chairman and CEO Chad Holliday.
