The Inaugural Purple Ball Tickets

The Inaugural Purple Ball is bringing hoard of celebrities to the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, DC, on January 20th to celebrate the Inauguration, beginning with a Purple Cocktail Reception at 7 p.m. and including a sit-down dinner and tremendous live entertainment.

The sit-down dinner will begin at 8 p.m., and will feature Moet & Chandon champagne. After dinner, international artists Il Divo and Peter Cincotti will perform, Hill Harper will give a Presidential Toast, and guests will be entertained by the Radio King Orchestra and professional ballroom dancers.

The event benefits the Eracism Foundation, which was founded by Oscar Winning Actor Louis Gossett Jr. Gossett Jr. will be joined by confirmed celebrity guests Partricia Arquette, Amy Brenneman, Ed Harris and Amy Madigan, Josh Lucas, Ashley Judd, Angela Bassett, John Cusack, Brendan Fraser, David Alan Grier, Diedre Hall, Herbie Hancock, Djimon Hounsou, Terrance Howard and Lisa Marie Presley and Kate Walsh, and host of other celebrities still to be confirmed.

The celebration will bring together the most influential and diverse leaders of our nation to honor bipartisanship and diversity. Lush purple velvet, crystals and a top-of-the-line dinner and champagne toast will be served.

The Eracism Foundation aims to work against racism, violence and ignorance, to assure positive environments for cultural diversity, historical enrichment, education and anti-violence initiatives.

In addition, the Flower Power Foundation will pick up, deliver and distribute all floral arrangements immediately following the event to injured veterans at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, National Naval Medical Center and the Washington DC VA Medical Center.
