The Inaugural DC Ball will be held at the Historic Old Post Office Pavilion Ballroom on January 20th, and will feature DCs legendary Godfather of Go-Go, Chuck Brown.

The event, which promotes "festive to fancy" attire, will include open bar all night as well as delicious appetizers.

Entrance into the event will also include entrance into Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, allowing guests to take pictures with the lifelike figurine of President Obama in a replica of the Oval Office.

The event will certainly have a funky soundtrack - in addition to Brown, Clones of Funk ala George Clinton and P Funk (the Spirit of Funkadelic) will be on hand, plus special guest dancers and a number of celebrities.

In addition to a great evening to celebrate a momentous occasion, guests will support the Washington, DC Boys and Girls Clubs.
