Historic Inaugural Ball Tickets

Changeworks, LLC is hosting the Historic Inaugural Ball to celebrate the Inauguration of President-Elect Barack Obama and the National Birthday Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Historical Society of Washington, DC.

The all-inclusive event will feature delicious butlered hors d'oeuvres and serving stations for food, and an open bar full of an extensive collection of beer, wine and liquor. Specialty Drinks will be featured, at additional cost, including the Dark and Stormy "Renegade," the "Michelletini" - a purple martini, and the pineapple and Coconut mojito, "Change Has Come."

The celebration will also include live entertainment with multiple dance areas, as well as interactive attractions. Guests will enjoy a varied set of musical performances from the Marshall Keys Jazz Group, the Soul Patrol R&B Band, and DJs Kevin Henderson of Joyful Noyze and DJ David Jenkins of Joy of Jazz Productions. For the quieter set, poetry readings will come from DC Poet and Author Kwame Alexander, with Dr. Tonya Matthews and Katy Ritchey.
