HBCU Inaugural Gala Ball Tickets

Alumni, students, faculty/staff and supporters of Historically Black Colleges and Universities will celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday and the Inauguration of Barack Obama on January 20th.

The function, to be held on January 19, 2009, at Sequoia at Washington Harbor in Washington, DC, will feature a number of special guests, including members of congress and leaders in the African American community. Actress Debbi Morgan whose TV and movie credits include "All My Children", "She's All That", and "Eve's Bayou", will play host for the evening's events. Dr. Leonard L. Haynes, III, Executive Director of the White House Initiative on HBCUs will also deliver special remarks.

Hors d'ouevres, drinks and dancing will be provided for the celebration! Entertainment comes in the form of live performances by Jazz singer Alyson Williams and Neo Soul recording artist Rahsaan Patterson.

The evening's venue is among the best in the city - 22-foot ceilings expose incredible views of the Potomac River and the Kennedy center, allowing guests breathtaking views of Washington and Virginia's skyline.
