Georgetown Inaugural Gala Tickets

The Georgetown Inauguration Gala features a different spin that most events celebrating President-elect Barack Obama's big day - it will be held at The Shops at Georgetown Park, which will be transformed into a massive and extravagant venue helping partygoers to ring in the new administration.

The Buffalo Soldiers of Washington, DC, will be on hand to escort all guests into the event, after they march in the Inaugural Parade with President-elect Obama. The group included extremely courageous soldiers that were the first African Americans to serve the country during peacetime.

The celebration will be catered by La Prima, and the menu will included confit of wild mushroom, sashimi of tuna, sweet chili shrimp, grilled vegetable platters and caprese skewers, among others.

Entertainment for the evening will please every possible taste - the Old White Grand Piano will be on hand, as well as a harpist, a jazz ensemble and a DJ.
