Democracy Ball Tickets

The Democracy Ball is an official inaugural ball, planned by a number of different states to honor the newly sworn-in U.S. President.

Arizona, California, Kentucky, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee and Utah all combined to throw the event in 2005 in Hall D of the Convention Center in Washington, DC.

Three years ago, this ball hosted the biggest celebrity name of the lot - Ben Stein hosted the affair (in a black tuxedo and green sneakers, no less)! Musical entertainment included Kaleidoscope and Sidneys Orchestra.

While there were over 31,000 various inaugural parties thrown across the country on January 20, 2005, the Democracy Ball was one of the few that featured the man of the hour - the new President! President Bush attended the event and danced with wife Laura, as he did for all of the official balls.
