Delaware State Society Ball Tickets

The Delaware State Society of Washington, DC will hold an Inaugural Ball to celebrate the eve of President-Elect Barack Obamas first day as President of the United States of America.

The event will be held at the Willard InterContinental Hotel Washington - a venue that has hosted every American President from Franklin Pierce in 1853 to President George W. Bush.

The hotel holds much more history than just presidents passing through, though - English writers Charles Dickens and Mark Twain used to frequent the hotel, Julia Hard Howe wrote "Battle Hymn of the Republic" and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., wrote his "I Have a Dream" speech from the lobby.

In addition to spending time in the incredible hotel, an excellent dance band has been hired, and a beautiful buffet food and terrific drink will also be on hand to celebrate this momentous occasion.
