Constitution Ball Tickets

The Constitution Ball is one of the most traditional Inauguration Balls, organized to cap off the inaugural celebrations on January 20th. In 2005, it was held at the Washington Hilton.

Arkansas, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, West Virginia, Wisconsin, plus American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands had first dibs on tickets to the ball, taking an opportunity to celebrate a new term for their leader.

Entertainment for the evening was provided by the Doug Sorensen Orchestra and the High Society Band, 10 and 12-piece big bands, respectively, and Tuxedo Junction, a 6-picece jazz ensemble.

The Constitution Ball was the first stop for President Bush in 2005, where he told the crowd, "I love my wife, Laura, and Im hoping to have a dance with her, maybe for the first time in four years."

Customarily, the ball is filled with members of Washington Society dressed to the nines waiting for their change to cheer for the new President. Tickets are available to the public, and the affair will certainly be a sight to behold!
