The Change Has Come Presidential Inaugural Gala is a Red Carpet Event on Inauguration Day to commemorate the historic inauguration of President- Elect Barack Obama. The event will also serve as a fundraiser for the Washington Baptist Seminary, Inc. and Diamonds Xcel, Inc. , a magazine dedicated to youth excellence. Several noteworthy guests have been invited to paricipate in the formal program to include Reverend Jesse Jackson, Sr., founder and President of the RainbowPUSH Coalition, former Democratic presidential candidate, Civil Rights Activist, and former District of Columbia Shadow Senator as well as Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, Georgetown University Professor, regular NPR, CNN, and HBO Commentator, American Writer, and Hip-Hop Scholar.
