Black Tie and Boots Ball Tickets

The Texas State Society of Washington DC will host the Black Tie and Boots Ball, long known as one of the premiere Inaugural Balls held in Washington.

The event, to be held at the recently-opened Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, will bring all of the spirit of Texas - music, dancing and revelry - to Washington.

The lineup for this event boasts several of the top country acts around. Musical guest include: Tracy Byrd, Jack Ingram, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Kevin Fowler, Asleep at the Wheel, Dale Watson, Kelly Willis, Bruce Robinson, Emory Quinn, Sunny Sweeney and Charlie Robinson. Other singer/songwriters just recently announced include Neal McCoy, Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys, Rick Trevino and Zona Jones.

The Texas State Society also presents a Black Tie & Boots Inaugural Fair, which gives Texan businesses and organizations an opportunity to showcase what the great state has to offer. The fair is open to the public on January 18th and 19th during scheduled hours, but will be open exclusively to ball ticket holders the night of the event.

Event organizers are currently working on arrangements for shuttle service with several Metro Stations to and from the event venue. Valet and self-parking are also available on site.

The event will include members from the Texas society, as well as elected officials and leaders in the community. U.S. Senator John Cornyn, Texas State Society President, promises a terrific time - if a Texan is heading to the White House or not!
