American Music - Legends Ball Tickets

American Diva Dionne Warwick is hosting the Legends Ball in honor of President-elect Barack Obama. Gala goers will celebrate Obamas successes and future at the Marriot Washington Wardman Park on Janurary 20th, in conjunction with the Urban Ball, which will be held right next door.

The event will feature an amazing group of entertainers, including co-host Yolanda Adams, Taraji Henson, The Caravans, George Clinton, Kirk Franklin, Chaka Khan, The Temptations, The OJays, Peter, Paul & Mary, and Nancy Wilson. Other celebrities will be on hand as well, including Isaiah Washington and Jason Taylor.

The Legends ball will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m. in the foyer of the Marriot Ballroom, with the main event beginning at 8 p.m. The reception will feature an open bar, which includes fine wines and premium liquors. Appetizers will include baby lamb chops, miniature beef wellington strudel and risotto and gorgonzola fritters. The Ball menu will feature terrific food stations, including a fresh fruit station, a Hawaiian station and a Salmon station.

This will be a terrific opportunity to celebrate Obamas inauguration through a universal medium - music.
