Washington Redskins Seating Chart

The Washington Redskins started off the season red hot, but a second-half swoon left them yet again simply fighting for respect at the end of the year instead of the postseason.

This team generally goes as does Jason Campbell, and the quarterback really had trouble moving the offense in the final two months of the season.

The Redskins and owner Daniel Snyder aren't afraid to spend some money, and they did that and more this offseason to try and put the team over the top in the competitive NFC East.

The biggest signing was defensive tackle Albert Hayneworth, who becomes a $100 million man thanks to Snyder.

The team also re-signed cornerback DeAngelo Hall for big money, but the Redskins failed to address their needs on the offensive side of the ball.

The wide receivers are still small and another year older while Clinton Portis isn't getting any younger, either. The injury-prone running back had a great 2008 season, but you just wonder how much longer he can keep it up.

Campbell is the type of quarterback who won't usually lose you a game but won't typically win one for you, either, so you had better surround him with some special offensive players and an above average defense.

The schedule for 2009 is not very forgiving, as the Redskins have to play not only the six tough teams in the division, but opponents from the NFC South.

Games at Carolina and Atlanta are imposing, and traveling to San Diego to face the Chargers will prove a tall task as well. They do catch a huge break with the two random teams they play, as games against Detroit and St. Louis should be must-wins.
